The Defender is pretty much known as Land Rover's premier off-highway vehicle and is considered one of the best stock off-road vehicles period. It is too bad that they have withdrawn them from the North American market, but hopefully they will make a return with a new model later in the decade that holds true to the heritage of all working Land Rovers before it.
Henry's 1994 Land Rover D90 was an amazing machine. We pretty much cut our teeth with it in the deserts of the southwest from Moab to the Borrego Desert and it never flinched. While some people don't appreciate the simplicity of the design, or the functionality of its components, these are what keep Land Rovers on the trail week after week. The D90 was pretty much kept stock save for a custom built roof-rack, ARB suspension and Bull-bar with Warn winch. Unfortunately the D90 was sold in the late 90's after seeing many trips into Mexico and the Southwestern US. If you recognize the truck, or happen to own it or know who does, drop us a note, we'd love to find out where this truck is now.
