Out of all the places we frequently wheel, Utah is by far my favorite. I've only been to Moab once and have to say that although the trails are impressive, the crowds of people are not what we started wheeling for. If you search around, there are some amazingly lonely places to be found in Utah.
CANYONLANDS "MAZE" 1997:
The Canyonlands National Park is one of the few remaining National Parks where you can still drive off-pavement, or even in your own truck for that matter. I've visited the "Maze" district several times, the first being with Moe and Henry in the Series II "Old Blue" and my Range Rover. I drove it from Ontario to Utah and back with no problems.
CANYONLANDS "NEEDLES" 1999:
Henry and Moe visited Canyonlands again in 1999, this time they explored other areas of the park.
CANYONLANDS "MAZE" 2004:
Pete and I headed for the "Maze" in the spring of 2004 in the HUMMER. The park was quiet and there was still some snow around but the full moon made up for the bone-chilling evenings. On the way back to San Diego we spent some time riding the sand dunes at Glamis.
